Make YOUR Mark on Dot Day!
A village-wide celebration of the creativity in all of us returns! We are inviting children of all ages to “make their mark” and explore the power and potential of creativity for Sewickley’s Dot Day 15143 on Saturday, September 14 from 1:00PM - 4:00PM (Please note the updated time!).
Dot Day is an international celebration of art, inspiration and courage, based on Peter H. Reynolds’ book, The Dot. Dot Day participants can visit participating stores and areas in Sewickley to explore their own artistic vision.
Activities at the Library
· Screen Print Station – make sure you stop by to get your ink layer to complete your poster
· Kids Craft Stations – budding creatives can explore their abilities and get crafty!
· Sidewalk Chalk Station – use provided chalk to “make your mark” outside of the library
· Spot Your Dot – Kids can spot their dot if they made one at their local elementary school
