4th Grade Battle of the Books

Looking for an exciting and friendly competition to challenge your wits? Look no further! Battle of the Books returns in 2024. This program aims to encourage reading and give recognition to those who like to read. 

To participate, students in 4th and 5th grades must form a team of four to five members, with an adult team manager.  Each member should have their own Allegheny County Library card. (Need a card? Ask our staff!) Team members will read from a list of books chosen by the Children's Department of the Sewickley Public Library and answer trivia questions based on the books to compete against other teams. 

Online registration begins, Wed, January 3. Registration forms will be available on the SPL Children’s Department website (kids.sewickleylibrary.org). All teams should be registered by February 2.
